Germany: Mercedes-Benz sold out in early May 1955, selling so well that it broke all previous records.

According to the French news agency AFP, RM Sotheby’s, a company that sells classic cars, says that the Mercedes Benz was auctioned off in 1955 and is the most expensive car ever sold in the world.

The report states that the Mercedes-Benz 1955, with only two versions available, sold for کروڑ 143 million (13 135 million), breaking all previous records.
The company said in a statement that the 1955 Mercedes-Benz had been sold at auction to a private customer for a record 13 135 million.

It should be noted that this car was sold at almost three times the previous record price, which was established in 2018 by the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO. The 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO sold for over کروڑ 48 million.

The proceeds from the auction will be used to set up a worldwide Mercedes-Benz Fund, which will fund environmental science and de-carbonization research, RM Sodthab said.

The auction house says it was an invitation-only auction, held May 5 at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart, Germany.

According to RM Sodthabi, the highlight of the car is that it is one of only two prototypes built by the Mercedes-Benz Racing Department and is named after its builder, Chief Engineer Rudolph O’Hellen Hott. ۔

Or the buyer of the world’s most expensive classic car has agreed that the 300SLR O’Hanlon Hot will be available for public display on important occasions.
