Climate Change Summit, US Invitation to Pakistan
The United States has invited Pakistan to attend the Leaders’ Summit on Climate Change.

At the behest of US President Joe Biden, John Kerry has written a letter to Special Assistant for Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam inviting him to attend the summit.

In the letter, Kerry said: “The Glasgow UN Climate Change Conference will take place in November. Our goal is to reduce global temperatures by 1.5 degrees Celsius. The United States wants a meaningful climate target for 2030 under the Paris Agreement. You join as a speaker.

“We would like you to attend the Climate Change Summit on April 22,” he added.

It should be noted that from the Leaders Summit, important economies, partners will discuss dialogue on climate change.
