Corona epidemic threatens to affect air travel for years

Doha: International airlines have expressed fears that corona virus could affect air travel for years to come.

Senior executive Thierry Antenori said it would take a long time for business class travel to resume after fares were reduced by airlines.

He said that before the epidemic, the airlines were providing luxury seats and facilities to the passengers traveling in business class but the reduction in expenses by the corporations has also affected the passengers traveling in business class.

It is also important for Gulf airlines to estimate the resumption of business class travel because of the large number of business class seats on board.
