Defeated in NA-249, PTI throws debris at Election Commission
KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has rejected the results of NA-249 by-election. Khurram Sher Zaman has said that there is no need for political parties to contest if elections are to be held from number two.
According to details, while giving a press conference in Karachi, PTI member Sindh Assembly Khurram Sher Zaman raised questions on the victory of PPP in NA-249 by-election and said that the entire municipality is surprised and worried about how PPP won. The victory is as if milk is flowing in the municipality. Even in the survey conducted three days ago, the PPP was nowhere to be found. No survey company has given the PPP above the fifth position.
Khurram Sherzaman termed the by-election of NA-249 as pre-planted and said that it was already decided who should be brought up and who should be brought down. The victory of PPP proved that it was rigged. Political parties do not need to fight.
The PTI member also slammed the Election Commission, saying that the Election Commission is incompetent and failed to hold transparent elections. We demanded that this election should not have been held in Ramadan. We knew that so many people would not be able to go out in Ramadan. Due to which people did not come out, the Election Commission is responsible for the spread of this epidemic
