Gold prices rose in the global and local markets
Karachi: Gold prices have risen in the global and local markets.
In the international bullion market, the price of 24 carat gold per ounce rose by ڈالر 20 to 18 1862, while in the local barter markets, gold prices rose by Rs 500 and Rs 429 per tola and per 10 grams, respectively, on Friday.
As a result, the price of gold per tola increased to Rs. 113,450 and the price of gold per ten grams increased to Rs. 97,365.
Representatives of the bullion market said that the price of gold per tola was Rs 1,000 less on Friday in the Pakistani barter markets as compared to the Dubai gold market. Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs 50 to Rs 1,370 and the price of silver per ten grams increased by Rs 42.87 to Rs 1,174.55.
