I will not disappoint the nation in future, national hero Arshad Nadeem
LAHORE: National athlete Arshad Nadeem Watan, who had excelled in the Tokyo Olympics in Japan, has returned home.
On arrival at Lahore Airport, Punjab Sports Minister Rai Timur Bhatti, President Athletics Federation Akram Sahi and others gave a warm welcome to Olympian Arshad Nadeem and presented him with a garland of flowers and a bouquet.
A large number of people were also present outside the airport to welcome the national hero and as soon as Arshad Nadeem came out of the airport, slogans of “Long live Pakistan, long live Arshad Nadeem” were chanted by the people.

Talking to media on the occasion, Arshad Nadeem said, “I thank all those who prayed for me. I got fame in the world only because of the prayers of the people.”
Arshad Nadeem said that I worked hard and came fifth. I am thankful to Pakistan Sports Board and Punjab Sports Board for their support. I am satisfied with the patronage given to me.
The national athlete said that he will overcome the shortcomings and play his best game in the future. He will not disappoint the future fans with his performance.
Punjab Sports Minister Rai Timur Bhatti said on the occasion that Arshad Nadeem raised his head with pride, Arshad Nadeem recognized Pakistan at the international level.
