Impact of dollar on Pakistani currency, weekly report released

According to the report released this week, the dollar has risen by 28 paise in one week in the interbank market, after which the dollar has risen from 158.82 to close at 159.10 in the interbank market during the week.
However, the report said that the dollar has risen by 10 paise to Rs 159.30 in a week in the open market.
In addition, the euro rose 20 paise to Rs 192.70 in the open market during the week, while the British pound rose by Rs 2 to Rs 221.50.
The report further states that in one week, the UAE dirham has increased by 10 paise to Rs 43.40 while the Saudi riyal has increased by 10 paise to Rs 42.30.
