Kuwait: Great relief over institutional quarantine
Kuwait City: Vaccines approved in the Kingdom of Kuwait have been exempted from institutional quarantine.
According to the details, those who come to Kuwait will now be exempted from the condition of institutional quarantine who have taken one of the vaccines approved by Kuwait.
In this regard, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health has also issued a notice to Civil Aviation, according to which the list of vaccines approved by the Ministry of Health has been prepared by Pfizer BioNech, AstraZeneca Oxford, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson Corona vaccines are included.
Dr. Mustafa Raza, Secretary, Ministry of Health, also informed about the continuous update in the list of approved vaccines in the notice issued.
The Ministry of Health notice states that recipients of vaccines approved by the State of Kuwait are being given exemptions and facilities, whether the vaccination is in the State of Kuwait or abroad, they will be exempt from institutional quarantine. ۔
These persons will quarantine the house as per the resolution passed by the Cabinet on March 22, 2021, while the other conditions regarding immunity will be as follows:
Approved vaccine recipients will be exempt from institutional quarantine if they have received a single dose of the vaccine for more than 5 weeks. People who have taken 2 doses of a vaccine and more than 2 weeks have passed since the second dose.
People who recover from a corona virus infection and receive a single dose of one of the vaccines approved in the state of Kuwait, and are 2 weeks old, will also be exempt from the institutional quarantine requirement.
It should be noted that the condition of PCR test is 72 hours before arrival in Kuwait, while PCR test is also mandatory after domestic quarantine.
