Many big companies, including Google, make big decisions about Saudi Arabia
Riyadh: Several international companies, including CSG and Google, have pledged to open offices in the Saudi capital Riyadh.
The Saudi government had earlier announced that from 2024, government contracts would not be awarded to any foreign company that does not have a regional office in the kingdom.
According to Saudi media, the American technology company “CSG” has said that it will move its regional office from Dubai to Riyadh while the Dubai office will continue to function as usual while the management of “Standard Chartered Bank” says that the Middle East. In addition, the American technology company “Google” is also preparing to open a regional office in the country. Beckett, a US construction company, also said it had set up a regional office in Riyadh.
According to sources, India’s Oyo Company has announced to set up its regional office at the King Abdullah Financial Center in Riyadh.
American energy company Chefron has also said it is planning to set up a new office in the city of Al-Khafji, while American Railway Company has vowed to open an office in Riyadh. The company is preparing to do business in the Saudi market.
In addition, more international companies, including Germany’s Robert Push and US carmaker Ford, have hinted at opening offices in Riyadh.
