Prince Harry and Meghan Shahi are not returning to life
Cunningham Palace has said Prince Harry and his wife Meghan will not return to perform royal duties on behalf of the British royal family.
The Queen has confirmed that the couple “cannot continue the responsibilities and duties that come with public life.”
A statement from the palace said: “Prince Harry and Meghan are among the people the family loves dearly.”
The couple said the service was “universal” and offered to continue supporting the organizations they had represented.
The Duke and Duchess announced last January that they were retiring as “senior” members of the royal family and would work for economic independence.
He relinquished his royal responsibilities in March last year following the announcement, and plans were made to reconsider after 12 months.
