Question from Sasmita about arranging oxygen in Delhi hospital
Actress Sushmita Sen has asked herself why she is not sending oxygen cylinders to Mumbai hospitals instead of Delhi.
Sushmita had recently posted a video of the CEO of Shanti Makand Hospital, Delhi, saying that she had received some oxygen for the hospital in Mumbai, following reports of a lack of oxygen for people suffering from corona at a hospital in the Indian capital, New Delhi. The actress had also said that there was no arrangement for transporting the cylinders from Mumbai to Delhi.
A few hours later, in a tweet, Sushmita thanked everyone for their help and said that the shortage of oxygen at the hospital was over and I had more time to send the cylinders. He later said that the oxygen cylinders would be sent from Mumbai to a hospital in Delhi.
While the actress was lauded for the move, many had questioned why she was not sending oxygen cylinders to hospitals in Mumbai.
In her reply to all such people, Sushmita says, “Because there are still oxygen cylinders in Mumbai, Delhi needs it, especially in small hospitals to help if possible.”
The actress says that oxygen crisis is everywhere and it is shocking.
With more than 16 million cases and 168,920 deaths as of Friday evening, April 23, India is one of the most affected countries in the world by Corona.
Leading figures from Pakistan and India have expressed sorrow over the current situation and stressed the need for strict implementation of security measures.
