Russia has welcomed US President Joe Biden’s announcement of an extension of the Arms Control Treaty with Russia and demanded details.

It should be noted that the former Trump administration had rejected the conditional extension of the Arms Control Treaty.
The White House said yesterday that US President Joe Biden wants a five-year extension of the Arms Control Treaty with Russia, which expires in early February.
