Saddam Hussein’s daughter was not involved in her husband’s murder
Saddam Hussein, the daughter of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, has said no family member, including her father, was involved in the killing of her husband Hussein Kamil.
Al-Arabiya News Channel has broadcast the second part of Raghd Hussain’s exclusive interview in which Raghd talked to his father’s cousin Hussain Kamil about his marriage and divorce. Hussein Kamil was the head of the Military Industry Authority in Iraq and was considered the country’s second most powerful figure after Saddam Hussein.
Raghad denied the role of brother Azi and father Saddam Hussein in the targeted killing of Hassan Kamil, saying that the decision to kill her husband was made by tribal chiefs in which no member of her family had a hand.
