Samsung’s new phones are made of old seaweed
South Korea: Samsung has said that a special material has been used in the manufacture of its new phone Galaxy S22. This material is made by recycling old nets thrown into the sea.
On the other hand, the company has announced that by further expanding it, other Samsung products will also be made from recycled marine plastic.
Two days later, on Wednesday morning, the Samsung Galaxy S22 will be unveiled and in this regard, Samsung has indicated that it has added a new and special material in its new phone. A substance made up of marine nets that are a nuisance to sensitive organisms in waters around the world.
Samsung has also said that in the next phase, it will manufacture more products by incorporating other types of marine plastic waste into more products. But the Samsung S22 itself has not been given any new details nor has it been revealed which part of the phone is made of marine plastic.
According to the United Nations, 640,000 tons of plastic are dumped into the oceans every year. This plastic has become a serious threat to marine life and is killing them on a large scale. Then its dispersed particles enter the fish food and reach us in our own plate. On the other hand, the coral reefs of marine animal nurseries are also not safe from the impact of plastic.
