South Korea agrees to bear 14% more US military spending
South Korea has agreed to bear another 14 percent of the cost of US troops in the country, and Seoul and Washington have signed a new spending-sharing agreement.
Former US President Donald Trump has pressured ally South Korea to spend more, which Seoul agreed to after several rounds of talks. The dollar will cost about 14 percent more than previous spending.
