The most expensive candle in the world, priced at four and a half million rupees
LONDON: The world’s most expensive candle has been unveiled at a price of 2021 British pounds, or Rs 440,000 in Pakistani rupees.
A company called Fleming Crepe has developed this scented candle that burns for 30 hours. Named ‘Smells Like Capitalism’, the candle is made from vegetable soybean wax and recycled ingredients. As soon as you light a candle, it smells of pure leather wallets and notes. In this way, it gives a sense of capitalism.
But it is important to note that the huge amount of money paid for this candle will be spent to help homeless people across the UK. Thus, this most expensive item has been manufactured for a charitable purpose. However, other expensive scented candles are also being sold in stores around the world.
Oliverbor, owner of Fleming Crepe, says there are many brands of scented candles that can cost up to ہزار 1,000. However, the sellers cannot explain the price but we use the money for charity.
Oliver said that all candles are made by hand with passion and love. “In this way, we are giving a standard item but at the same time we are helping people in every possible way,” he said.
However, it is not known how many people have bought this most expensive candle so far.
