The Prince of Saudi Arabia has announced plans to build a city without cars or roads
Riyadh. Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman of Saudi Arabia and Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman said that a city is being built in which there will be no car or road (No Car Neither Road). The new city will have Zero Carbon Emission City. The prince plans to build the city in a length of about 170 km under the Newem project. This development has been dubbed ‘The Line’. Saudi Arabia, an oil-rich country, is also looking for a future without oil by building the city of Newem. Construction of the city will begin in the first quarter of this year. The Crown Prince announced the project on television.
The plan is to resettle one million people
One million people will be housed in the new Saudi city of Newem. It will have facilities like school, health center and greenery. It will create jobs for 3,80,000 people. The Crown Prince said the infrastructure would cost 100 100-200 billion.
