The US military handed over Helmand base to the Afghan army
The US military has handed over a military base in Helmand to the Afghan army.
The Pentagon says US troops are withdrawing from Afghanistan and that work is 12 percent complete.
It may be recalled that US President Joe Biden has announced the complete withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan by September 11.
