TickTalk announces new feature to prevent unlimited scrolling
Beijing: Popular video sharing app TickTalk has decided to introduce a new feature to prevent users from having unlimited scrolling.

A blog post from the company states that in the coming weeks the company is going to introduce a feature that will help people to limit the time spent on ticking in one sitting.

According to the company, the feature of regular screen time breaks will remind people to take a break after a certain amount of continuous screen time, which users can determine at their own pace.
The new screen time dashboard will tell users how much time they are spending on tick talk. This feature will tell them about the time spent on the app on a daily basis, how many times the app was opened and the distribution of day and night times.

The company added that it would introduce a weekly digital welfare reminder for young consumers. When a user between the ages of 13 and 17 spends more than 100 minutes a day on the app, the next day the company will remind them of its screen time limit tool.

TickTalk has already implemented screen time limits to help people decide when to spend time on the app. Push notifications for users between the ages of 13 and 15 would be automatically disabled after 9 p.m. Consumers between the ages of 16 and 17 are inactive after 10 p.m.
