UAE, a new and easy way to get a driver’s license
The good news for Sharjah residents is that they no longer have to go anywhere to take a test to get a driver’s license.
According to the Khaleej Times, residents of the UAE state of Sharjah will no longer have to go to a driving school to take a test to obtain a driver’s license.
According to the report, the Sharjah Traffic Police Department has introduced a service after which there will be no need to go anywhere after submitting an application for a driving license.
The traffic department officer will come to the house in person to take the test, for which an additional fee has to be paid.
A statement issued by the Sharjah Police said that under this service, the examiner taking the driving test will arrive at the area where the applicant is present and will take him for the test.
The declaration states that the examiner will drop the applicant at the same place after the completion of necessary procedures.
To avail this service, the applicant has to pay an advance booking fee of 100 dirhams.
