Underwater submarine and cargo ship collide
An underwater submarine collided with a cargo ship in Japan.
According to the British media, the Japanese submarine collided with a cargo ship while trying to rise above the sea level in the Pacific Ocean, as a result of which the submarine crew suffered minor injuries.
Japanese officials confirmed the crash, saying the cargo ship’s collision severely damaged the submarine’s antenna and caused communications equipment to stop working, prompting submarine crews to alert authorities via mobile phone. ۔
The Japanese Defense Minister expressed regret over the collision between the submarine and the cargo ship, saying that at the time of the accident, the submarine was participating in a training exercise. Couldn’t change.
According to media reports, officials say the crashed diesel-electric submarine has been in service since 2009 and the 84-meter-long submarine suffered no major damage in the crash, which is why it is still operational.
