When will Hyundai launch the new sedan Elantra?
Hyundai is expected to launch its 2,000cc Elantra by mid-March this year, the most expensive sedan ever made in Pakistan. Experts expect the Elantra to be even more expensive than the recent most expensive Honda Civic Turbo manufactured in Pakistan.
Hyundai is already manufacturing H100 Porter pickup trucks and SUV Tucson in Pakistan. H100 Porter was formerly known as Shahzor. The company is also selling imported vehicles such as Grand Starix, Ionic Hybrid and seven-seater Santa Fe.
Usman Ansari, an auto sector expert and who runs a blogging website called CarSpiritPK.com, says he thinks that if Hyundai Elantra is launching a 2,000cc variant, it will be from Toyota Corolla Grande and Honda Civic It will be the most expensive car as well as the most expensive.
Company sources told Samaa Mini that Hyundai will initially launch the Elantra’s 2,000cc variant without sharing future plans.
Usman Ansari added that Hyundai is gaining a position in Pakistan as a premium brand by keeping the price of its car a little higher than other competitors.
“We’ve seen in the past that when they launched their crossover SUV Tucson, it was priced higher than the ‘Kia’ Sportage, so I think they did something similar with the Elantra.” Will do
Elantra is considered around the world to be similar to the Corolla and Civic, with Usman Ansari criticizing Hyundai’s strategy of keeping itself as a premium brand. The Top Civic Variety Brick is priced at Rs. He believes that the company can keep the price of 2,000 cc Elantra at more than Rs 4.7 million to attract the elite class.
He said that the company is bringing a model with some changes which was launched worldwide in 2014. Hyundai International has introduced a new model of Elantra in USA, Europe and Australia this year. However, in Pakistan the company has introduced the old model. Hyundai International has launched a phased market.
Ahmed Lakhani, a senior analyst at JS Global, says Pakistan is a third world country, so introducing innovative models is not a business priority for car companies. I think Hyundai’s new Elantra model When it launches, it may enter the market of crossover SUVs based on prices, which may make it unsuitable for buyers.
