Why oil and water do not merge, scientific reason
Oil does not dissolve in water and water cannot be absorbed into oil, we all know this and will observe it in our homes but what is the reason? We never think about it.

The combination of oil and water is impossible because of the differences in the structure and properties of their molecules. Oil molecules are much larger and more atomic than water molecules.

When we see other types of liquids coming together, it means that their properties are technically the same, such as milk and water.
Another observation we may have made is that when oil and water are mixed, oil forms a circle on the surface of the water. In fact, the mutual attraction of oil molecules is greater. Molecules stick together so tightly in an effort to take up less space that they form small, large circles instead of covering the entire surface of the water.
