Riyadh: The Saudi Ministry of Manpower and Social Welfare has denied the news that the new employment laws in the kingdom will end the previous harassment cases.

The new employment laws have been enacted in the country from today and various rumors have been spread on social media, including those related to previous Harub cases, but the government clarified. The Ministry of Manpower and Social Welfare further said that there was no provision in the new system that the workers who had filed their grievances in the past would be abolished and they would have to take steps to eliminate them.
It is to be noted that the new system has undergone three major changes which include exit promise, exit bath and work agreement. Experts believe that this strategy will strengthen the Saudi labor market.
